Channel 4’s The Tez O’Clock Show

I was producer of this three-part series which mixed sketches, stand-up and studio chat. Presented by Blackburn-born comedian Tez Ilyas and filmed in Manchester, it featured a smorgasbord (or barm-plate) of Northern talent, with guests including John Bishop and Jason Manford.

Chortle called it “genuinely boundary pushing”, The Times said it was “a magnificent programme” and The Sun added that it was “just more political propaganda hiding behind the tag ‘comedy’.” Thanks guys!
